Calypso is a unique and groovy little establishment on the city-fringe in famous Caxton Street - the Petrie Terrace entertainment gateway from the city to Suncorp Stadium.

Calypso was opened in 1996 as the coolest little coffee shop in the Petrie Terrace area. Now it's three times the size, fully licenced, and offers the great mix of gourmet pizzas, quality wines, cruisy music, relaxing lounges, and a breezy back deck shaded by one of the biggest weeping figs you'll ever sit under.

Pizzas "made with love" are our signature. Ready in a flash. And matched by winemakers with perfect reds, whites and bubbly to enhance the flavours. We also have new desserts that will tantalize the sweet-tooth tastebuds.

We love to hold functions and parties for groups up to 150. Our function rooms are uniquely decorated and provided free of charge. Food and music are our specialty and the venue is perfect for birthdays, Xmas parties, business celebrations, and any reason you need to gather with a group of friends.

Footpath dining is a favourite where you can watch the world go by with Caxton Street providing many alternative venues with nine hotels and bars within easy dancing distance.

Calypso should be your meeting place whenever you think functions or Suncorp Stadium. It's a short 2-minute stroll to the stadium gates after pre-match drinks for Broncos, Reds, Roar, State of Origin or concerts
