Calypso is a unique and groovy little establishment on the City fringe on famous Caxton Street - the entertainment gateway between the City and Suncorp Stadium.
Opening it's doors in 1996 as the coolest coffee shop in Petrie Terrace, Calypso has grown in size, is fully licensed and offers a great mix of quality wines, cruisy music, relaxing lounges and a new mexican menu.
We love to hold functions and parties for groups of up to 150 guests, making Calypso the perfect venue for birthdays, Christmas functions, business celebrations or just a great place to relax with a group of friends.
